M has his first ever piece of jewellery, an amber necklace. It’s supposed to help with teething pain.
He doesn’t look convinced though…
Sort of, anyway. I went in this evening for a meeting about our Night Shelter scheme in Merton (www.roominthiscommunity.org).
Although I hate leaving M, I love my job, I really do. And it felt great to be involved again.
It’s all systems go now to get the structures in place to see the scheme up and running again in December. And we’ll also be looking at getting independent charity status! Very exciting.
Buzz, buzz, buzz….
There is so much that I could say about yesterday….
Full of grace.
Beautiful in the extreme.
Ram-packed full of personality.
The very best kind of reminder of what a privilege it is to marry….
‘I could get used to this! Where’s my milk?’
M and I had the privilege of hanging out with the bride-and-groom-to-be today, on the afternoon before the event of the year. They make such a gorgeous couple and have such a special day planned – how on earth will I get any sleep tonight?
Off to finish my little speech….
It’s back! And isn’t it WONDERFUL!
They’ll be some sunny pics to follow soon.
