After much planning and preparing, we got up this morning at 5.30am, packed up the van and headed to the boot sale ready to flog our junk.
I was initially concerned when we first hit the mile-long queue to get in around 7.15am. But we waited, and waited, and crept closer and closer until we finally discovered that the sale was full. Yey. Not.
So back home we journeyed, unpacked the van and repacked the shed before laughing a little at the HUGE waste of time and energy and deciding to head off to Dorking to chill, soak up some sun and picnic.
Result! As it turned out, anyway… Good times and good company.
They’ll always be another time to car boot. I’m sure we’ll get there one day.
