Thanksgiving Day

Well, I didn’t give a monkey’s about the weather in the end. M and I had a fabulous day. It was just wonderful to be able to share it with our family and friends who spoilt us rotten by making such an effort. The service was beautiful, the people were generous, and the cake was too much!

I am beyond grateful for my son, and it was an honour to be able to publicly say so.

And tomorrow is his half birthday! Hasn’t it flown by! It’s a day that I hope we’ll use to celebrate his birth in the sunshine in years to come, when Christmas Day might get tricky.
