Pretending to be asleep

I pretended to be asleep.

He wriggled.

He sat up.

He touched my face.

He slapped my face (in that affectionate way he has).

He licked my face.

He nuzzled my chin.

He put his fingers in my mouth.

He grabbed my nose.

He climbed onto my head.

He laid over my face.

He wriggled and squished his cheek against mine.

And it was there that he fell back to sleep.

I’m not sure if I won that one or not, but I smiled anyway.
